Naomi Campbell jumpstarted New York Fashion Week with the debut of her highly discussed collaboration with fast fashion brand PrettyLittleThing. The collection, which was primarily in shades of black, white and metallics, showed at the iconic Cipriani in downtown New York City. Seemingly inspired by Beyonce's "Renaissance" Album and subsequent tour, the show featured highly glamorous party dresses, full length faux fur and leather coats and A LOT of sheer - everything. While there has been some controversy around the collection, primarily due to sustainability issues connected to brands like PrettyLittleThing, Campbell has defended the collaboration citing the desire to get to know and cater to a younger audience. However, the collection, which was co-designed with up-in-coming talents Victor Anate and Edvin Thompson, aesthetically proved to be a great success; take a look at some of my favorite looks from the runway show:
