The collection's color story was an "homage to human beings."
Fashion trends can sometimes be very season specific – what is hot for spring/summer and what is hot…or cold…you know what I mean, for fall/winter. However, after examining the recent fall/winter menswear collections, there are some trends that you should not only be clocking for now, but that will also carry you through the rest of the year, see below:

Monochromatic Looks
The monochromatic trend is nothing new, but it is one we will be continuing to embrace far after winter passes in 2023. Many designers featured this trend in their fall/winter collections. From Louis Vuitton and Ami which showcased neutral looks in white and black respectively, to Paul Smith who emphasized bold color. Tom Ford was a personal favorite showing a variety of monochromatic looks in different shades of colors such as purple and teal.
Retro Fits
The next trend might have you rummaging through your parent’s closets for some of their greatest hits from decades past. The fall/winter menswear runways were full of references to styles from the 1940s –1980s, as seen at Dior, Bode and Saint Laurent. However, if you do not want to implement this trend head-to-toe, there are many ways you can tie in a vintage coat or pair of pants with more modern pieces.
Relaxed Evening-Wear
Our social calendars are back in full swing and that means a variety of events that require us to get dressed up again. However, several designers explored different ways of dressing up formally. While classic black-tie will never go out of style, brands like Alexander McQueen emphasized formal vests rather than jackets and Greg Lauren showed a more classic dinner jacket paired with a relaxed black cargo trouser. If you want to incorporate the trend into your own repertoire, you can simply wear a t-shirt with your tuxedo instead of a formal shirt.
Oversized Pieces
A huge trend we have seen all over the place, from the runways to stadium tunnels, is the emphasis on the oversized "piece." The fall/winter collections by designers such as Vetements and Dolce and Gabbana featured an array of oversized coats and outerwear. However, when things warm up we can expect to see this switch to oversized suits, trousers and light knits on athletes and laymen alike.
