While statement pieces are great, a well-rounded wardrobe they, alone, can not sustain. As such, everyone needs a collection of "staples" to serve as the foundation of their closets. Most of us will need a few of each staple so it helps when you can find them at a price that doesn't break the bank. I am here to help so check-out my go-to places to shop wardrobe staples at an affordable price:

Jeans
Jeans are commonplace in most people’s wardrobe. However, many people don’t have the ability or desire to drop tons of cash on designer jeans. I personally have never really bought into the designer jean thing, especially because I am not a huge jean wearer. However, when I am looking for a new denim piece, my first stop is Urban Outfitters. They offer a variety of brands, styles and price points that fit every budget.

Dress Shoes
When it comes to dress shoes, I am willing to be more liberal with the amount I spend (you should be too). However, most people can’t afford an entire wardrobe of luxury dress shoes. My advice is to find a great quality brand that frequently goes on sale. When it comes to dress shoes my go-to is Paul Stuart. While Paul Stuart full price is pretty expensive, they offer great sales on their shoes (and most other items) throughout the year.

Sneakers
As many of you who have followed me for a while know, I am a sneaker collector. Despite having a propensity for kicks like Jordans, some of which can be quite hard to get or expensive on the resale market, I also love to explore more accessible sneakers. My favorite affordable brand is Vans. I love the wide variety of models the brand offers (I favor the low top “Old Skool” and “Authentic” models), and the already low-priced shoe can easily be found on sale.

Suits
One of my favorite brands, period, is SuitSupply. As the name suggests, they are most widely known for their suit selections, which come in a variety of colors, styles and fabrics. I would say that 90% of my suits are from SuitSupply and, in my opinion, the brand is unmatched in the market when it comes to style and quality at their price point. SuitSupply suits generally start at $500 and go up from there.

T-Shirts
Uniqlo is a Japanese brand that has expanded globally since its founding in 1974. The brand is known for offering good quality, low-cost basics for men, women and children. Similar to H&M and Zara, Uniqlo has a wide variety of apparel, but in my opinion their t-shirts are some of the best in the market. They offer many different types of styles and those I have tried have all been great quality and fit well, especially considering the low cost.
