If you have followed me for, five minutes, you know that I have a love affair with sneakers. While the sneaker world has become more accessible over the years, there are still barriers to getting some of the most coveted pairs (limited production, shipping issues, BOTS). However, there are a few options from the top sneaker brands that I think you should not only own, but that are also pretty easy to get, take a look below:

Adidas - Stan Smith

A white sneaker is a must for anyone’s wardrobe and the Stan Smith by Adidas is a great option. While there are many different options for white sneakers, the Stan Smith is one of the most classic and most affordable, priced at around $100 full price.

Converse - Chuck Taylor All Star

The OG basketball shoe, the Chuck Taylor All Star is one of the most recognizable sneakers around. The design has stayed pretty much the same for the last century and has been worn by some of the most iconic people in history. This is a wardrobe must-have, not only because of the amount of skin it has in the game, but also because it literally goes with almost everything.

New Balance - 550

Now this was a tough choice because there are SO MANY New Balance models. However, IMO the 550 is the way to go – hear me out. While there are other classic models to choose from, I think the 550 is one of the most versatile, i.e. one of the least similar to a dad-shoe. I also think the shape of the sneaker is the most wearable and collaborations with brands such as Aime Leon Dore have served to up the “it” factor.

Nike – Air Jordan 1

OK, my (and MANY other people’s) absolute favorite sneaker of all time is the Air Jordan 1. Michael Jordan’s first sneaker still flies off shelves and is arguably the most sought-after Jordan model (particularly out of the retros). Now, while some colorways/collaborations are VERY hard to get, others are much easier to find sitting on shelves in sneaker stores these days.

Puma - Clyde

The Puma Clyde may not be as popular as other shoes on this list, but it still is a classic that I think everyone should have in their closet and is probably the most popular Puma sneaker in the market. When deciding on this sneaker, I would definitely go with the a black and white or blue and white version.
