Fall is for layering and these pieces will help you effortlessly.
Listen, when it comes to shopping, I am pretty straight forward. I am not someone who believes that you need to shop everywhere. In fact, I have my go-to websites I always start with when looking for particular items. Is this to say that I only shop on these sites, no. However, they are definitely my most visited (and highly recommended) sites for all of your wardrobe needs.
Basic Pieces
Basics are the core of any wardrobe and when it comes to this category (things like plain t-shirts, pullovers, simple sweaters/cardigans), I always look on these three sites (honorary mention to Uniqlo as well) before going anywhere else. Amazon in particular has a lot of great finds and sometimes offers lower prices on items compared to what you might find on competitor sites or on the website of the actual brand.
Statement Pieces
While basics are important, you must have some statement pieces to make your outfits pop. I tend to go to these three sites when I am looking for something, particularly leaning more streetwear, that is a little jazzy. All of these sites have different price points (Urban Outfitters is definitely the most affordable while Ssense features more luxury and emerging brands), so feel free to shop whichever works best for your budget.
Dressy Pieces
While I tend to look at other sites in addition to the ones listed for most of these categories, when it comes to suiting, I am much more strict. Most of my suits come from Suitsupply – I love and know the brand and it works for my budget. I also find that J. Crew can sometimes have great offerings (particularly in the sale section) and I always try to pick up a piece from Paul Stuart whenever it is a good deal (Paul isn’t cheap).
Luxury Pieces
When it comes to the world of luxury fashion, my focus is always finding the best deal. As such, I tend to always shop the sale sections of the following sites as they tend to have the best selections (excluding Mr. Porter which does not have a sale section, but does have an excellent sale twice a year). Also, please note that Neiman Marcus owns Bergdorf Goodman so their offerings are pretty similar, although there are price differences or additional markdowns on each site from time to time.

Rare Pieces
OK, when I say rare, I don’t mean like a Faberge egg or a pair of Jordans made specifically for Michael which he signed in 1985. I mean items that might be old season and impossible to find or items that might be limited addition and are no longer available. While not listed here because I have never bought anything from the site, it would also be good to look at Grailed which has some unique and hard to find offerings.
